Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and caring Driver to join our team at Love R Kids. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting children, to and from designated locations. If you have previous experience, enjoy driving and have a passion for working with children, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport children to and from the daycare center, as well as on field trips or other events as needed

• Ensure children are secure and comfortable during transit

• Assist with loading and unloading supplies, including educational materials, equipment, and other items for the center

• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times

• Communicate with parents, staff, and children in a friendly and professional manner

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized vehicle

• Perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety and readiness

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a driver, preferably with children, is preferred

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

- Ability to work well with children and demonstrate patience and care

- Excellent time management skills, ensuring timely arrival and departure

- Ability to lift and handle light to moderate equipment or materials

- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus

- Must pass a background check and any other required screenings

Job Summary: The Opener Lead Teacher ensures the safe and welcoming start of each day at the childcare center. This role includes supervising early morning activities, implementing the center’s curriculum, and providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. The Opener Lead Teacher also collaborates with families and supports other educators to maintain a high standard of care.

Responsibilities:

• Open the center daily and prepare the environment to welcome children and families.

• Supervise early arrivals and ensure smooth transitions as children join their classrooms.

• Implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans based on the center’s curriculum.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.

• Build trusting relationships with children and families through positive communication and support.

• Collaborate with other educators to plan activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

• Ensure compliance with all Wisconsin DCF licensing requirements.

• Act as a role model for assistant teachers and provide guidance when needed.

Qualifications:

- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred) OR a Wisconsin Registry Level 7 or higher.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an early childhood setting.

- Knowledge of Wisconsin childcare licensing rules and regulations.

- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

- Ability to open the center as early as 6:00 AM.

- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

- A positive and nurturing attitude toward young children.
